The cruise ship in the distance is the "MS Maasdam," a Holland America cruise ship built in 1993 by Italy’s Fincantieri Shipyards. She was named for a dam located on the Maas River in the Netherlands. “Maasdam” is an S class 10 deck cruise ship, 721.78’ long, 101.50 beam, 131.23’ high with a 24.93’ draught.
